This journal is open access. The open access model allows academic publishing so that anyone in the world can access the full text of research articles in the best interests of the scientific community. Therefore, anyone, based on the Creative Commons Atribución 4.0 Internacional CC-BY 4.0 license, can copy, use, redistribute, publicly transmit/display the work, and distribute derivative works as long as the authors are credited; in other words, the authors can retain the copyright of their articles.

The scientific community discusses the quality of open access publications; however, many current or highly cited articles have been published through open access, and the growing trend also shows that many open access publications have been successfully indexed.
