Anti-Plagiarism Policy
Revista Científica del Amazonas maintains a strong commitment to academic integrity and ethical standards in scientific publishing. To ensure the originality of the manuscripts evaluated and published, the journal adopts a strict anti-plagiarism policy aligned with international best practices in editorial ethics.
All authors submitting manuscripts to Revista Científica del Amazonas are required to sign a Declaration of Originality, certifying that the article is entirely original, has not been previously published in any journal or other medium, and is not under simultaneous consideration by another publication.
In addition, each manuscript undergoes a similarity verification process using Turnitin Similarity Check software, a service provided through Crossref. This procedure enables the identification of textual overlaps with other sources and allows for the assessment of the originality of each submission.
If a high similarity index or evidence of plagiarism is detected, the manuscript will be immediately rejected and the authors will be formally notified. In cases of partial plagiarism or self-plagiarism, authors may be required to provide clarification or make the necessary corrections before the editorial process can continue.
Revista Científica del Amazonas, supported by Editorial Primmate, promotes transparency and respect for copyright, ensuring that all published articles meet the highest standards of originality, reliability, and academic ethics.
